6/17/2025I've been seeing Dr. Degges for two years now and today's visit was just like the first visit except he seemed much more comfortable in his role as doctor. I'm very happy with him and happy for him. It's taken me a long time to be okay with the fact that I'm going to be in some kind of pain even though I'm on medication. I couldn't get medication for a long time before now because my primary doctor at that time said that cerebral palsy doesn't cause pain and my testing was conditioned on me having back surgery so I'm really grateful for Dr. Degges listening to me and what I want. And it ended up happening at the right time because had I not seen Dr. Degges, I would've gotten a job that I wouldn't have been able to do because I was in so much pain. My daddy always said the doctor I needed hasn't gotten here yet and now I see what he meant. I hope [...] keeps you a long time.

I appreciated the time that was taken to understand my concerns. To be in a place of needing help for the unseen is a vulnerable place and that vulnerability was met with validation and dignity.
